Another idea- tea and coffee. I could talk for hours about those! Being in Hawaii, I bet you have had some good coffee experiences. I still have never had Kona myself.

I have enjoyed The Transmission so much this season. I feel like you all are friends even though probably have no idea who I am. I was not a terribly frequent commentor and never get up the guts to call the LOST line. :)

I am more of a news nut, as you may have noticed if you visited the blog, but I might give popspotting a try. :) If you ever want to talk about politics/Middle East or along those lines I have a ton of suggestions. :) I know a lot of that probably won't fall into pop culture, but sometimes it does.

I would say that a historical fiction I read recently, Mornings in Jenin, would be worth a look. In America, people typically sympathize and identify with Israel in the conflict. This novel tells the story of the Palestinian holocaust that occurred when Israel was formed. It is the other side of the story- of one we think we all know so well- evil Arabs suicide bombing Jewish holocaust victims. It would be quite a revelation to many.

A true account to read would be The Lemon Tree. It's the account of a Palestinian family who was forced from the their home and that of a Jewish family who moved into that very home within the same week in 1948. In 1967, a child from each family got to meet and try and understand the other's narrative and perception of history.

I have a bunch of books, not all political, on Facebook on the app (Books Weread) if you're interested.

Ryan and Jen thank you so much for doing this. I just wrote Ryan from my work email asking him about another Hawaii up for 2010… He gave me this link and here I am. I look forward to listening. One suggestion is maybe having a Hawaiian song every once in awhile to mix the old and the new. Once again thank you.

So glad you'll be continuing, already in my iTunes, twitter and RSS feeds, and though it may be signalled by the end of Lost, I can't wait and will try and contribute more (esp UK stuff!)

I'm not an iTunes user, so would you be able to provide an RSS Feed to the podcasts as well please ?

Let me know if you need a Maui connection ... especially if it means a free press pass to the MACC events! If not, I'll still be listening. Thanks for great podcasting, Ryan and Jen.
